CharitiesSociety Cards awards 12.5% of its revenue from each year’s new range of Christmas cards to help support rural charities. The fund is divided among the following charities, chosen for their valuable and varied contributions to life in rural Britain.
ARC Addington Fund(reg. 1097092) The ARC Addington Fund enables those made homeless by changes in the rural economy to be re-housed within their own community.
CLA Charitable Trust(reg. 280264) The CLA Charitable Trust helps children and adults who are disabled or disadvantaged to enjoy and learn about the countryside.
Countryside Restoration Trust(reg. 1007793) The Countryside Restoration Trust demonstrates a living, working countryside balancing conservation and food production.
Marie Curie Cancer Care(reg. 207994) Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality free nursing to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses, in their own homes. In July of 2008, the charity marked its 60th anniversary.
RABI(reg. 208858) The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution of England and Wales provides care and financial assistance to those who have depended on the land and are now facing hardship.
RSABI(reg. SCO04828) The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution of Scotland provides care and financial assistance to those who have depended on the land and are now facing hardship.
RASE(reg. 209961) The Royal Agricultural Society of England promotes all aspects of farming, food and the countryside.
RHASS(reg. SCO 04561) The Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland promotes Scottish agriculture and its role in the wider community.
